Going to release the model that has the collision properly done as a modding resource later, the default savage mine collision is poorly done and all I can do is release my solution for anyone willing to test it. ie. something that is pelvis height should be jumpable.
My model (on the left) ~ 3 collision boxes 78 polygons in total with tight fitting bounding boxes no overlap, S2 Games or unknown (on the right) ~ 4 collision boxes overlapping 112 polygons in total with unrealistic boxes to obviously make it a prop that can't be climbed (but why?).
My own testing with an interesting and true description I wrote at the time lel.

That particular collision was a bit jagged and hard for beast to move over it, as I tested that when it came out. Not saying mine is perfect but it is realistic and smooth to walk over - as seen in my video.

As Stringer suggested making 2 versions, and you agreeing, I'm wondering where that 2nd version is? OFC having a 2nd and better mine would require 20000 map authors to change the mines on their maps and satisfy the 4 or 5 that use mines as blockers. I would go the other way around and replace the original with the better bound mine and have a blocker mine as the alternative - then as you may have guessed, only 4 or 5 maps need to be adjusted. But hey - they pay you the big bucks not me )

You two are both morons Instead of putting your differences aside and getting along to make savage better, you choose to fight and argue over the most smallest of things. You two obviously both have some talent and good work/ideas, however, you just can't seem to move on from the past. Yes, I don't know the whole story and yes, I know djinghis is a massive dickhead but ffs will you two ever get along?

Smooth is certainly not realistic, in this case. A redstone mine looks uneven and is quite jagged. Do you think stepping on pointy crystals protruding out of its surface is not meant to offer some feedback even one as little as climbing a step, if realism is what you're after?

Not my call, incase you didn't notice , I've been banned from Newerth for the last 2 years or so and none of my work ever gets accepted due to this individual "only". I'm happy to offer what little skill I have in making savage look fresher, and yes, I was offered to delete everything negative I've ever said about XR and suck daemons cock and call him sweetheart. But sometimes you just need to stand up for what you believe in and not submit to horrible individuals who don't deserve the time of day.
And yeah just so you know, I did apologize some time ago and you guessed it, my post was deleted from newerth.
@realism, did you not watch the video? the scavenger CLEARLY maneuvers his legs around the crystals cautiously, otherwise the he would get suck and his legs cut up. Better than walking on a 2 story invisible building IMO
