No Time The server has no time on it, Tirza noticed last night, is this by design? Must admit, it will stop long games but it does mean that games that could be won are being cut short.

It doesn't really change anything. Time could extended almost indefinitely via Extend Time votes (and let's face it, those always passed). Unless everyone forgot about calling the vote some clever guy would hit SH/Lair at the last second to win the match. That resulted in a lot of whining/complaining about how unfair it was to win that way. The only upside the time limit had was that people used it as a timer for sacrifice. There was an idea about adding a clock (game time) but apparently that's not possible now, but might be made so in XR.
To sum it up, the time limit did not solve the problem of long games, a better solution would be to lower the vote-ratio needed to pass a draw, maybe in relation to game time. So that as the game drags on longer it becomes easier to pass draw votes. I'm not sure if that's possible though.
Edit: Never mind, apparently it's not possible either.

ah, so no time limit, that makes sense. As you say a game timer would be good so people know how long the madness has gone on before they call a vote

Even if the timer is off, you can see the time in chat. :p Timestamps next to chat entries.
