last 2 days I've had better ping than kingdom (317) so whatever you did, if in fact you did - thanks.

Also http://server.groentjuh.eu/viewtopic.php?t=725 you've used my idea of increased gold? or was it the developers - either way it's in the wrong area as a commander I've had to spawn and press "," to empty my 5k gold - wouldn't it be easier to simply have starting gold like I suggested 3k I think. I also think with the addition of "donate" it's ridiculous having for example 6 players and a commander with this amount of gold 7x5000 + team pool 1500 = a potential $36500 and for a small game you have to admit that's overkill. Not only can you join spec (30sec rejoin cooldown) or reconnect (VPN) (no cooldown) and bank a fresh 5k into your teams bank account, but you have the rest of your team with a wealthy inheritance that they can bank as well.

I know the developers are not the sharpest sabres in the savages arsenal, so perhaps from a server point of view, you can fix some of their bonehead decision with server settings.
Id suggest go to

player gold = 1000
Team gold = 3000

Early game needed a boost especially for human commanders but the latest settings are just making a mockery of any respectable economy - so instead of a Brexit - lets fix this?

Pulse is down, in fact it's not on the server list anymore - deleted?
Nobody plays there cuz of the refs anyway, but thought you would want to know lel.

JmZ, can and will you turn off newerth MODT updates?, they are not popular or wanted. If it's possible can you turn them off so ppl can enjoy savage and XR can fuck off - thx.

If you leave Savage forever we will remove the MOTD. No way of turning it off.

If you want the MOTDs and popups turned off, you have to talk to Brad_Troika about it.

Yeah I meant balance changes - not Message Of The Day. Sum is a useless unit now.

I haven't seen just how badly XR have damages the server software for about a year, but is it possible to fix summoner back to the original via server settings?

I don't think the changes are so much of a nerf and more so a redesign. Siege camping has been an issue for yeaaaaars, and what these changes are trying to do is tackle that; give them more of a supporting ability, give players incentive to protect them and stick close but keep their anti-building goal intact.

Whenever I'm playing summoner now I notice people actually sticking with me as my buff gives them added protection. On top of that summoners are way more versatile in melee combat; you can leap away, knock attackers back, and when you're paired with a teammate you're more resilient against ranged weapony.

These changes are actually turning summoners into teamplayers, as opposed to staying back by themselves and trying to get some cheap shots!

Aaaaaanyway, back on topic; my ping has been great on Pulse, keep it up.

Gold problem: Maybe a good idea for the lack of gold for towers; increase the mining rate from goldmines! Right now goldmines are pretty useless, and I don't even bother putting them in my maps anymore just because it's not worth the time of both workers or players to actually mine gold.

Increasing the gold extraction rate by about 5x towards 250 gold per run seems like a good start; you'll need 6 workers to get enough gold for a tower - precious worker uptime you could spend on building or mining redstone. Gold autominers could use the same multiplier aswell, it will make them a center of interest instead of just being in the way!
