I have yet to hear from 3D about this incident. But from what I've heard it seems excessive to kick for something like that (if he wasn't even trying to offend anyone). And especially since you're now banned for 90 minutes after kicks. In my experience it usually works better to tell people to stop and if they won't then mute (and kick if necessary). I.e. if they're not doing anything game-breaking as stated in the original post.

Anyway, it's probably best to wait for 3D to comment, before I type more.

Off topic: Yea, some people seem to have had some problems posting here, no idea why.

it does seem exsessive, it was clearly a joke between you. however i do know 3dman in real live, and i do know that he has a 100% no tolerance agaisnt any type of racism joke or no joke, meaningful or not meaningful. Nigger is a racist word and i know from knowing him in real life this is something he would kick for.

now i aint saying he was right. as i said before, it was clearly a joke between you and matt. but i'd thought i'd just post this so u guys can get an in look into 3dman in real life. he hates any type of racism full stop. and everyone know's nigger is a racist word, (used by a white person,) and even joking about racism is not very nice. you might find it a joke but someone else on the server might get offended by it.

Now did you deserve a kick? no you didnt, but knowing 3dman myself, and seeing what you've typed i understand why he kicked. I myself believe that it was an over reaction by 3dman. however Racism can hurt alot of people, depending on how they take the text in context. you took the text as a joke, someone else however, might not and find it rather offensive. was it meant to be offensive? obviously not, but that wont stop someone from maybe finding it so.

overall, it was clearly the wrong decision by 3dman, but i do somewhat see his justification in doing so.

As Moxy stated, I have zero tolerance towards anyone using it. Whether it is meant to be taken offensively or not, someone might.

I act on the level of how experienced players are. You're one of the oldest and highest respected players in Savage. Therefor, you should know better than to post something like that in public chat.

I figure I should probably answer this. Anyway, we've talked about this issue and as far as I'm concerned it's been solved.
