I am honest. I have said the same many times on the server and I'm sure many refs have seen my opinion about them. I simply say the true reason.

Hmmm, I wouldn't really have any problem with giving you ref except for your application, as djargon points out.

When you go into a job interview do you say: "I don't really like the employees here, I think they're doing a bad job. I don't think I'm any good either, and my reputation is bad. By the way, I'd like a senior position within the company. Would you like to hire me?"

I know you can't exactly compare the two, but you must see what I mean...

Skuggi: There is a major difference between the example you said and the current situation:
For working, you get paid, for reffing, you get nothing else than flaming. My way of thinking is that being a regular player is better than being a referee on the same server. Getting ref is not something like an award or so. It's kind of a job, where you get no payment. I did write that line because I do not mind if I get this ref or not, I think it's for the players' sake to get more refs. And still, I will not hide my opinion or say it more nice so it will even sound as a good thing, if my opinion is definitly bad.

On the other hand, I did not say that I'm a bad ref, nor that I have bad reputation. I meant like I'm not well-known. And about ref I meant like I can't judge myself, as I think nobody can judge him/herself in a thing like this. Sorry if it was misunderstandable.

Like I said, you can't compare the two, but you must see how it comes across. I don't have any problem with you, it's your attitude... Your opinion of the refs may not be great, sure I respect that, but there's a thing called common courtesy. If you come here and say "You're all doing a terrible job, I'll show you how it's done," (yes, that's what it sounds like) do you really expect us to think very highly of you?

Also, if having ref is really so unappealing compared to being a 'regular player', why bother? I realize you'd like to help, but as it seems to me, on the wrong grounds.

I don't expect any of you to think anything about me. I have tried to ask refs on the server to mute spammers, slay sieges, etc. Most likely Chiprel and Feathers were the only ones (many times) who cared to go spec and check if they really should do sth. Then I told my opinion politely, nothing happened, like they didn't have read it at all. Then I told them my opinion rude, like here, they said thank you, players said yes. Still nothing else happened. So I applied to get ref to do the job which they don't. And that "You're all doing a terrible job, I'll show you how it's done" is about to be right, expect that I can't show you how it's done, since I'm not perfect as nobody is, but I wanted to try to change some things.

I know that all of my posts here are somehow offensive toward the server, and I still think it's about right.

I don't mind if you say no, really I don't. But please anything you do, watch over the refs you have, I might be wrong, but many shouldn't be ref, and as I have sensed the players also complain about the refs. Yes I know, players complain about everything, everytime, everywhere, like I'm just complaining now as well, but it worths the time I think.

"..on the wrong grounds." <- that's sad, but I think it's true. I don't like the reason either why I applied for that ref, but that's all what I got.
