I was also there ofcourse and discussed this with coinx2maou as spectator seeing the exploits ruining fair, full-teched games.

However since numerous threads on the issue (some of them by me some by others) had been opened and Cap. Kenway was even allowed to play pug cup I have no hope for something different to occur.

I do suggest to all relative new players here to just leave the game since a community who doesn't care that other players are suffering from this behavior (other players = non refs) is not a community worth investing time in.

I personally don't play morning till noon games anymore and also yesterday, after the first exploit I left to spectate the rest of the "matches".
If that wasn't enough when I asked repeatedly from Kenway's team not to use the exploit subs and burrows I got vote muted (which ofc instigated by Kenway)..

redundant to say that players like Stringer/Rio and others that voted F2 for my ref application (although i'm in server much more than them) are not there in such hours and apparently doesn't care that 20-30 other players are suffering.

After C. Kenway ruined the first match and got kick voted he ofc returned by using other (VPN) ips and continued to ruin more matches claiming:
"Refs went to sleep, I'll do what I want"

I didn't even bother to take a demo (although I have the start-stop bind for it), since I already uploaded 2 demos in the past and the only reply I got was "you should apply for ref" (how fucking brain-dead can this community be?...)

So again, I appreciate declining my ref application due to petty claims (and lies) while leaving 30 other people to suffer and thanks to generally doing nothing for years against this player.

Actually I see an obvious "hugging approach" from other refs and tournament organizers as if to say "be a good dog, don't bite and we'll give you treats".

Last point is, as fucked up mentally as C. Kenway is.. there is also some considerable responsibility to his teammates using the exploit subs he builds.
This was like a classic experiment in Sociology, where players which were in 1st match in the "victim" team and voted to kick Kenway would 1 or 2 matches later use his exploit burrows and decline attemps to kick him.

In all 3 matches most of his team happily used the exploit subs and burrows even after the first spawn where they realized it's an exploit (although I believe they knew it was an exploit from the moment it was placed).
In one of the matches they even elected him commander for the purpose of exploiting (yes.. this is how much things are fucked up).
As mentioned they also F2'd kick attempts to Kenway.
So as I was saying.. I urge everyone who is suffering from this behavior to leave Savage due to terrible community behavior and shameful sportsmanship.

You can only agree with TRA when you consider the 15 players that use the exploit burrow/sub w/e to destroy the enemy base. and obv f2 kick votes.

I actually made Kenway hate me for making xr_kinixxx - the only un-exploitable map in savage, too bad they deleted it )

Ban is not the best solution as it will take a package of IPs as far as i know, so it will effect some other players, as well as he is using VPN to generate his IP so there is no point for ban, and i do agree that C.kenway acting normal when refs are online and V/V.

the point is, in pulse server there is 6 referees active almost in a daily basis but you can't control/monitor whether if they can cover 24/7 or not, special midnight.

assuming that you have double number of current, 12 referees in the server also you still not sure if you can cover server performance 24/7, maybe it will reduce the complains but the vulnerability for exploit, spam, troll..etc still there. as you maybe found 0 or 12 ref unavailable as that time

so don't think that becuz your application failed we still receiving complains or only depend on number of refs. as you and any other player CAN NOT promise to deliver a number of hours everyday to manage the server during midnight, but its depend in players behavior as well as availability for refs.

coincoinmiaou: Not becuz you found old players applied as ref that mean you will not apply, just go ahead and fill ref application and wait for the result to work with.

for players who fails, i recommend you to work on what was the reasons to make it failed, and try to fix it..don't blame who is voting F2 ofc they have reasons, and if you're worry about performance that much.. work on the reasons to get it passed next time instead. but do it if you able to deliver that service everyday every midnight ), like what is the use for having 15 refs and none is covering midnight.

i believe that refs are only a tool that its used to reduce the numbers of exploits,spam..etc. and rest are depend on game design,develop,server policy/rule and so on.. which is required a good budget for it )

I agree just getting more refs is not a solution,
This is exactly why I am saying to whoever writes:
"try applying for ref" this is a brain-dead answer to the problem.
It's like seeing someone who drives carelessly and without a license daily and when you file a complaint for his driving violations the answer from the Police Traffic Department would be "have you tried enrolling to our traffic police force?"


What can be done to limit the problem:
1) C.Kenway should not be allowed to participate in tournaments (he also fucked NSL season with his fake *BF clan).

2) Whenever he's online and ref is online he should be auto-kicked (no matter how many times he comes back.. you know that every VPN has its finite range of allocated IPs)
and no matter that he isn't exploiting that moment/day/week.

3) Check the possibility of gathering all his known IPs and generate mail/alert when he's online and if a ref is available then validate it's him and kick him.

These are actual steps towards making his life harder to exploit rather than the European naive approach of giving him treats when he doesn't exploit.

And where can i find reflist ? (/reflist ingame only works for ref online i think)

ref commands so easy to use and it can be share with you in-game with all tips required if you ask any online ref when he is a free.

Just don't jump to 3rd step ,start with step No.1 and apply if you interesting )

ok if it is so bad, why JmZ don't give some special referee power to TRA (He's prob the most active person actually)I mean for example, he'll be able to slay only or something like that..
I know about that his vote for referee on Pulse has failed but this shouldn't be that so much problem or it is? What are your thoughts?
