Hi all,
My name is jazzking, I play on both Leet US and Groentjuh's servers. I joined WW about a month ago and I am quite active.

Until now I've been perfectly happy on the server as a player. I recently commanded a match where the opposing comm placed an exploit sub which allowed his players to get to my shield from the edge of the map. Because there was no ref online at the time I vowed to apply for ref to make this problem less likely.

I think I'm able to stay quite level-headed. I would be an quite an active ref, especially against game altering behavior. My preference is for reading the rules literally. Finally, I think I would always go for a mute/slay when possible instead of a kick.

 u can fit to be a ref jazz, the question is, do u want to go into fights with other players , and for others to hate u? cuz if u will actually use your ref powers for mute/slay, even if its justified, ppl will hate u, no matter what, think about it deeply mate.

 lol @ gridfon.

Although i'm possitive that Jazzking will be fine as ref, but like SAS said. You should bear in mind, even when u punish people for breaking the rules you will get hated. Even if u do nothing you will get hated. the ''title'' ref does have it's effect on some people.

 Thanks for your warnings. Naively I didn't quite realize that refs bear the dislike or even hatred of some players. It reminds me of the taxman: he gets no love but someone has to do it. I suppose I'm here because I see a job that needs doing; I never expected to personally benefit.

Drk, I'll contact you ingame. I will be online infrequently this week but I'll be back on the coming weekend.
