 Exp gain killing NPC's

Hi everyone,
I played a CW on a WW match server recently and to my surprise the player killing NPC's was getting more exp than us pminers! I wanted to know why killing NPC's has a reduced exp gain on the pub servers.

It seems to me that encouraging players to mine gold isn't such a bad thing, and would facilitate getting to a desired lvl (ie 7) if you join the game after pmining starts.

Some problems I could see with higher exp gain from NPC's is lower motivation to pmine, and a slight benefit to the race which needs exp more (beasts I think).

What do you think?

hm cws are usually with no more than 20 players on the map and they know each others, so you know who in your team you want to have more xps first and let him kill npc's

pub are between 20 to 63 players, when a team goldstarve it's already hard to get money with only 2-3 gold area in your team.
For 3 monkit, you can only be one player on it since if you're two players you won't have a better total of gold/minute.
For 1 redstone mine you can be 6 and you'll have 6 times mores redstone/min.

this is just my point of view.

jazz i think u r right, tbh i think the XP system needs to be like old days, less XP for pmine, more xp for NPC, this pmine system is stupid, wasting so much time every game for mining, at old days, ppl didn't pmine, tech was slower for both teams, and ppl actually used lvl1 tech and went attacking, nowadays ppl waste 2 min every game for pmine
